The meeting shall be dedicated to the well-known story “How Mr. Threddie the Tailor Became King” by Kornel Makuszynski, the Polish writer of literature for children and youth. The story was originally written in Polish by one of the most popular writers of children literature in Poland whose books became very successful during the years between the two world wars in Europe. His books were translated into many languages, including Hebrew. Makuszynski was buried in Zakopane in 1953 where a museum was established in his name.
