Concert of cello, piano and actress of the artist Ruth Levin, based on a story by Abraham Sutzkever. In the story, beautiful young Polish lady of noble descent raises a Jewish baby girl that was left with her during World War 2 , like she`s her own. Sutzkever`s tale was based on his life as a Partisan. The Israeli violinist and composer Motti Schmitt, Levin`s partner, heard a similar story as a child from his father, Isser Schmitt, who was actually Sutzkever`s commander with the fighting partisans in the woods. The concert is dedicated to the honor of the righteous, for the annual international memorial day of the Holocaust and combined with the ancient tale of the beauty and the beast where beauty defeats the evil.
