Thomas Jatrun born in 1950, poet, essayist, journalist, literary critic and columnist. In 70’s and 80’s he was an activist of “Solidarity”. In 90’s he was a director of the Polish Institute in Stockholm and a cultural attache in Sweden. Author of numerous books of poetry, short stories and essays. He regularly publishes in newspapers, journals and magazines. He has received numerous awards: the Foundation of Robert Graves Award, Koscieliski Foundation Award, the Cultural Award Trade Union "Solidarity" Award for the creation of the period of martial law, the Independent Journalists A. Slonimski Award, literary prize of the "Kultura" (Paris). He regularly writes for ‘Neewsweek’ magazine.
