TT: Why did you run away from there? What, was it so bad for you? You had girls, a flat with a nice view, in the capital, you earned well, you were part of the high society, and now what?

AA: You run away not to somewhere, but from somewhere.

TT: That is what I am saying. It was better for you there than here.

The Polish playwright Slawomir Mrozek, one of the most important authors of the absurd play- writing movement of the 20th century, brings together AA the intellectual and TT, a simple provincial laborer, and from the tragic-comic dialog between the two, rises important questions concerning the man-slave, who is incapable to love or to understand the other, the outsider.

This is a story about people that lost their lifes, that emigrated in the purpose to change their lifes, but the problems of the past continue to pursue tham.

In spite of the complex and serious theme, succeed to write a black and grotesque comedy.

We hope that the play will assist people to understand, and if not identify, then at least to forgive the other.
