An event about Polish Literature in Israel will take place in Beit Ariela library on April 11th 2019 on 19:00 – translation of Polish literature into Hebrew, current status, challenges and future objectives.

The event will include a multi-faceted discussion about Polish literature in Israel with the participation of translators and other professionals working in this field.
A panel moderated by culture personality Danny Tracz will field translators Miriam Borenstein and Miri Paz, the CEO of Carmel Publishing, Israel Carmel, an expert on Polish literature, Dr. Dorota Burda-Fisher and the deputy director of the Polish Book Institute (a public institution promoting Polish writers abroad), Dr. Krzysztof Koehler.
In the framework of the event there will be a sale of books by contemporary Polish authors that were translated into Hebrew.

The event will be held in Hebrew.

The library of Beit Ariela, Tel Aviv, 25, Shaul Hamelech Blvd.

The event will be a festive conclusion of the workshop for translators of Polish literature conducted by Miriam Borenstein that was held at the Polish Institute in Tel Aviv in the months February-April, 2019.
