In November 7th we shall organize a festive evening to celebrate the 100th centenary of Poland regaining independence. The event shall be held in the new section of the Tel Aviv Museum. The invitees number diplomats, representatives of culture and learning institutions, government officials etc.

During the event 7 individuals shall be honored with a Polish state distinction called “Ambassador of Good Will” for their contribution to culture, business, law and relations between Israel and Poland.

The Jagodzinski Trio – one of the great Polish jazz bands – shall play jazz pieces based on Frederic Chopin’s works.

The state distinction “Ambassador of Poland’s Good Name” shall be awarded to:

Adina Bar-On – for her contribution to promoting Polish art in Israel.

Dalit Haramaty – for her contribution to Polish-Israeli cooperation in the field of education

Elroy Knebel – for his contribution to Polish-Israeli economic cooperation

Gil Faran – for his contribution to Polish-Israeli dialogue

Dr. Marcos Silber – for his contribution to deepening of the knowledge of Polish-Israeli history

Ilona Dworak-Cousin – for her contribution to strengthening of ties and cooperation between Poland and Israel

Zvi Kelner – for his contribution to strengthening of ties and cooperation between Poland and Israel
