„Work of a Translator of Hebrew Literature into Polish”, meeting with the translator Leszek Kwiatkowski

Leszek Kwiatkowski -
musician and translator of Hebrew literature into Polish. In addition to Amos OZ’s novel “Tale About Love and Darkness”published this year in Poland and which gains popularity there, Leszek also translated “Return from India” by A.B. Yehoshua, essays by Joram Bronowski, experts of novels by Yoram Kaniuk, Yoel Hoffman and Yaakov Shabtay. He is presently translating David Grossman’s novel “Someone to run with”.

Jan Woleński – Polish philosopher, continuator of the Lvov-Warsaw School, works among other on philosophy of language and epistemology. Since 1991 he is philosophy professor at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, he has philosophical and legal education. He is author of books and philosophical articles. W roku 2004 w Wydawnictwie Literackim ukazała się jego książka na temat relacji między teizmem a ateizmem pt. „Granice niewiary”. His book about the relation between teism and ateism, „Boundries of Disbelief”, was published by Wydawnictwo Literackie in 2004.
