Library and Reading Room

The Library of the Institute counts some 6000 volumes – fine literature, history, social sciences, philosophy, art, literary reviews. Most of the collections are books by Polish authors in the Polish language. We also possess a modest number of translations into Hebrew, English, French and German.
In the Reading Room of the Institute, you can have peruse fresh newspapers and magazines; listen to music – presently, our collection contains 100 CD's with classical, ethnic, jazz music; see a movie – we have some 60 feature films and documentaries.

Lending Rules:
In order to lend books, please leave us a check deposit of 100NIS.

We lend up to 3 books at once to one reader.
Deadline for returning books – after 4 weeks. Possible prolongation of lending is to be agreed upon with the librarian before the return deadline.
Press, albums and CDs can be used only at the reading room.
You can lend a movie for maximum 7 days, after leaving an additional check deposit of 100 NIS at our office.
