Advanced Polish

(course depends on the number of candidates)
At this level, the class work will depend on the students' knowledge of the language. Though it is the continuation of the first two levels, this course is also open to people who learned Polish individually or picked it up from home. The aim of work with the advanced class is to deepen text comprehension and conversational skills. The course broadens the knowledge of the language – vocabulary, word creation principles, bases of correct oral and written expression. Participants read and analyze Ewa Lipinska's "Kiedys wrocisz tu", part I ("Sometime You'll Come Back Here", part I) manual's articles, as well as current Polish press articles, Polish prose and poetry excerpts. The working material is not only adapted to the participants' linguistic possibilities but also to their specific interests and current events in Poland and in Israel.
