CH&K&K Band at Ha'Teiva Marathon
May 14

The cycle of contemporary music concerts during the Polish Year in Israel will be inaugurated by the performance of CH&K&K, whose line-up is: Marek Chołoniewski – electronic instruments, Włodzimierz Kiniorski – saxophones, flutes, percussion, Krzysztof Knittel – electronic instruments. The musicians will present the newest version of the MYRIAM project, dedicated to Myriam Prongue, director of the Foundation Pro Helvetia in Krakow from the 1990s.

CH&K&K was formed in 1998. Its music is a perfect representative of the intuitive and improvised currents, as it explores the space between pre-conceived, composed music and jazz, as well as its derivatives. Intuition and fantasy, sensibility and innovativeness are only seemingly free from restraint here, as they are disciplined by the fact of playing in a band.

May 14th, Center for Contemporary Music Ha’Teiva , Jaffa
