The book that was published owing to the Polish Institute’s efforts is a record of the memory of the authors who write in Polish in Israel. The book eternalizes persons, events and a literary life that is fast becoming a thing of the past.
 

Opportunity for young translators of Polish literature into Hebrew!

If you haven’t turned 40, you have at least some notions of the Polish language and you would like to hone your skills, here is a tremendous offer. The Polish Institute in Tel Aviv together with the Book Institute in Cracow invite you to participate in a translation workshop for young translators. During the 10-session workshop, the best in the field – Miri Paz (prose) and Rafi Weichert (poetry) will share with you  their professional insights.

The sessions will be held once a week on Sundays between 18:00 – 19:30 during the period November 18 – February 20.
